No doubt at all that human Mind is so mysterious. No one can predict anything, what might happen in the next moment. In fact, whatever we are experiencing in this life are happening in the Present Moment. In fact, the Past had to move through the Present Moment. As for the Future, that also has to be moved through the Present Moment too. As we are experiencing in the Present Moment, no matter what happens or occurs, it is very logical to observe the Mind in the Present Moment that can find in Mindfulness. What is Mindfulness at a glance?:

Mindfulness sis the ability of the Mind to be remaining in the Present Moment or to bring back its attention in the Present Moment. According to Wikipedia. Mindfulness is the practice of purposely bringing one’s attention in the present moment without evaluation, a skill one develops through meditation or through other training. Mindfulness drives from Sati, a significant element of Buddhist tradition.

Of course, the Mind has to cultivate Mindfulness. That means Mindfulness cultivates or develops in the Mind through Meditation, Yoga or some other forms of training that is related to the cultivation of the Mind. That means, the Mind has the ability to be aware of itself as well as has the ability to bring back its own Attention to the Present Moment purposely whenever needed or the Mind intents to do so. In fact, once Mindfulness cultivated or developed in the Mind, the Mind has the ability to bring back its attention in the Present Moment by being aware that such attention of the Mind is not in the Present Moment. Of course, ample efforts, times, and patience, etc., all are required to cultivate Mindfulness in the Mind. Yet, it is possible to achieve as long as any individual is determined to make it happen.

Why need to observe the Mind moment to moment in Mindfulness?

Nothing is static. Even a solid brick wall what you see is also not static even from the surface it looks like that. But, there is a constant movement in the inner molecules of such materials by those the brick and finally the wall was build. That can only be able to visualize though using super powerful microscope. The human body which we are looking also are not static at all. The same movement is continuously going on in the inner level, which w can see through our limited physical eye vision.

The same movement is also continuously happening in the human Mind (The Brain, what you can say). In fact, everyone has such experience in life that Mind is continuously in activities & movement. The Mins is here at this moment, but suddenly it moves to other place. Sometimes in the Past, sometimes in the Future, and sometimes in the Present Moment. The reality is, the Mind is never remain in a still level. Movement & wandering activities are always happening in the Mind.

Of course, it is very natural for the Mind as human being is a natural creation. Obviously, the Mind is also the same as an integral past f the human body. Being a natural creation, obviously, such movement of the Mind is very natural. This is reality and no way to ignore or avoid it like all other reality.

As the Mod continuously move moment to moment, of course, in Mindfulness, such movement always observe accordingly. Wherever the Mind moves, observation takes place, always there. In fact, moment to moment observation of the Mind usually tales place in Mindfulness. As movement of the Mind is momentary, observation of the Mind also moment to moment in Mindfulness.

Let the Mind be inward instead of outward in Mindfulness:

Being a human being, whatever we experience in this world, in fact, everything starts in the Mind. That means, the Mind is creating or presenting the world to us. No matter what a human being experience in this physical world like seeing through eyes, hearing through ears, smelling through nose, tasting by tongue, and sensation by skin, etc., everything goes in the Mind through nervous system that built in the human body. The Mind process all collected data & create image, pattern, feelings, impression, etc., so that the person can understand such experience. If the Mind is not able to collect and process data and subsequently not be able to present anything to experience, that means, nothing is appearing in the Mind to experience or understand.

The same also apply to the mental experience or mental phenomena or activities, etc., that are also being processed by the Mind & present for experience and understanding for a human being. It is clear that no matter what a human being is experiencing in physically or mentally, everything is happening or occurring in the Mind. So, the Mind is in the center point of everything for a human being to experience both the physical world and also the Inner world of a human being.

As the Mind is in the center point or everything that a human being is experiencing in the Present Moment and also being directed by the Mind for all activities, movement, etc., to carry on life, hence, observation to the central focus point is very logical. Hence, in Mindfulness, the Mind is the main focus point to observe. So, let the Mind be inward instead of outward to keep it continue to observe itself. In fact, observation of the Mind is to be in place by the Mind.

Let the Mind be aware of moment to moment of the Mind in Mindfulness:

In Mindfulness, the Mind has the ability to be aware of the Mind itself. In fact, the Mind is absolutely matured while it is in Mindfulness. As the Mind has ability to be aware, let the Mind be aware of its own movement & activities in the Present Moment. No matter what arise in the Mind, no matter what the Mind creates, no matter where the Mind is moving, and wherever the Mind is at this Present Moment, let the Mind be aware of all those what is happening or occurring in the Present Moment.

The fact is that, awareness is always remaining as being in Mindfulness. Let the Mind keep continue to be applying its ability of awareness. As everything happens or occurs or starts or appears or arise, whatever you can say, everything is in the Mind. Hence, turn the Mind inward rather than outward to move by being aware. Of course, not forcefully or not insist at all. Let it be naturally & gently to keep focus inward so that the Mind can be more inward to be aware of its movement.

This is not unusual at all that, the tendency of the Mind is always moving outward rather than inward. Even in Mindfulness, the Mind has such tendency also. It is very natural as being a natural creation. But, only be aware wherever the Mind moves or goes or wanders. If the Mind go outward, it’s okay to let go as usual. Be aware of the existing moment of the Mind. If the Mind start to wander in the past r in the future, only be aware that the Mind is in the past or in the future that wherever the Mind is now in this Present Moment.

As awareness always in the Mind, the Mind is in fact, aware of its own movement and existing state of the Mind. In such case, awareness always follow the Mind wherever it moves. It is like a shadow of the Mind who always be with the Mind. Whenever the Mind is aware, let the Mind be back to the Present Moment naturally, as the Mind has such ability to bring back itself by being aware of it is not in the Present Moment. In fact, bring back of the Mind that is bringing back the attention of the Mind in the Present Moment, which usually happens naturally in Mindfulness.

Everything happens moment to moment. So, the Mind is not out of this natural law. The Mind also moves moment to moment. Hence, awareness also to be moment to moment and such awareness absolutely with the same momentum of the movement of the Mind. The amazing thing is that the Mind has awareness & the Mind always able to apply sch awareness to keep track of its movement to perform natural activities of the Mind. Hence, both awareness also move together with the Mind wherever it moves. This is the beauty (what usually expresses by the logical Mind). So, let awareness of the Mind to follow the Mind naturally.

Observe the Mind without any judgement in Mindfulness:

Who is going to observe the Mind when question of observation arise. Right?

In fact, no one from outside or even your physical body can’t be able to observe the Mind. Even, you say I, myself, is observing or watching the Mind. In sense, it is okay for communication purpose that human being has been invented and apply for communicating with each other as a common understanding. Isn’t it?

The fact is that, such observation has to be done by the Mind. Again, question might arise, how come I have only one Mind & it is moving around. How to observe it as the Mind is itself moving or wandering. Isn’t it?

The reality is, the Mind has to be observed by the same Mind. Yes, the Mind has such ability to be observed or watch itself. This is similar to awareness. Awareness arise from the Mind. That means it is a creation of the Mind and associated with the Mind too. As awareness can follow the Mind even it is associated with the Mind, same way, the Mind can be observed or watched by the Mind. That means, Mind can observe by the same Mind.

As awareness is there, only be awareness of the Mind in this Present Moment where it is attention now. If the Attention is in the Present Moment, only be aware that attention of the Mind is in the Present Moment. If attention of the Mind is in the Past or in the Future at this moment, only be aware that attention of the Mind is in the Future or in the Past. By being aware of the existing position of the Mind, observe or watch the Mind without any judgement. Yes, observation must be without any judgement.

Why no judgement?

If the Mind judge its movement or activities or whatever arise or occurs, in such case, the Mind is getting engage with other activities. In such case, the Mind is being away from awareness and also from observation. Apart from this, if the Mind starts to judge, the Mind can judge by its own way. In such case, there might have always deviation of judgment. Furthermore, the Mind can be understood the true nature or real nature of its own movement. Once judgment made, that means, Mind is judging itself and in such situation original attributes of the Mind is going to change or altered. Hence, in Mindfulness, observation always takes place without any judgment to find out or discover the true or real nature of anything which apply to the Mind itself as well.

As the Mind is moment to moment is changing by itself, obviously awareness follows the Mind too moment to moment. Hence, observation of the such movement also takes place moment to moment. It is like that observe the Mind by the Mind in moment to moment by following the existing position of the Mind in the Present Moment.

Do not insist or force the Mind to observe itself in Mindfulness:

Do not insist or force the Mind to observe itself. Let the Mind observe its movement or activities naturally. As the Mind is a natural creation, of course, no external force can’t do anything at all. Let the Mind naturally be applying its ability to observe the Mind by being aware of its own movement. If insist or force the Mind to observe, the Mind might get wild, and it is going to lose the natural momentum or rhythm. Hence, keep the Mind to observe naturally, and the Mind has such ability to do so in Mindfulness.

Keep continuing to observe without any judgement, always happens by being aware of the Mind itself. As a result, the Mind naturally get used to observe itself. As awareness always follow the Mind like a shadow, the Mind is always under its own awareness and can observe too by being aware of the existing position of the Mind in the Present Moment.

The Mind can understand that everything is momentary being in Mindfulness:

Being in Mindfulness, the Mind can be aware and observe not only the Mind itself but also everything whatever the Mind experience in the Present Moment. By observing everything without any judgement, the Mind can understand that everything is momentary. Nothing is permanent, even it appears as permanent.

No matter of any material, but also the Mind itself too is in momentary. This is the true or real nature of the Mind and Matter for both. As a result, the Mind become more & more aware of momentary nature and observe the movement or activities being aware of momentary movement. In fact, in Mindfulness, the Mind has such ability to understand such momentary movement & momentary observation.

The Mind can bring its Attention to the Present Moment in Mindfulness:

While Mindfulness is there in the Mind, the Mind has the ability to be aware and also the ability to bring back its attention to the Present Moment. As awareness always follow the Mind that means it always associated with the Mind, such awareness always remind the Mind by observing its existing position in the Present Moment. Once the Mind noticed by awareness & observation that it is not in the Present Moment, the Mind can bring itself that means bring its attention to the Present Moment.

It is no surprise at all that the Mind can again be away from the Present Moment, let it go its own natural way. As awareness always follows 7 keep continue to observe the movement of the Mind by the same Mind, the Mind is totally aware of its existing position. Once notice that the Mind is not in the Present Moment that is awareness reminds the Mind, then, the Mind can apply its ability to bring back to the Present Moment.

In fact, bring back the Mind by itself to the Present Moment again & again by being aware & observe, the Mind do the same job again & again. It is a repetition of same activities. As a result, the Mind naturally starts to become more still in the Present Moment and sustainability in the Present Moment naturally develop slowly & gradually.

Being in Mindfulness, the Mind has the ability to be aware & observe, let the Mind take place such awareness & observation without any judgement. Being in aware of the Mind in the Present Moment, observation to carry on moment to moment as the Mind always shifts its movement moment to moment. Of course, need to keep away from insisting or forcing the Mind to observe its movement.

In Mindfulness, in fact, the Mind is not only be aware of itself, but also be able to observe its movement by being aware of such movement and can bring attention of the Mind to the Present Moment once the Mind itself become aware that it is not in the Present Moment.
