They never get fully destroyed. Only goes in the back of the stage. At any moment, such buried or suppressed Mental Anxiety come back again. They only remain as dormant. Not destroyed at all.

But, when the Mind become dull and not aware at all about the Present Moment, such suppressed Mental Anxiety suddenly arise from nowhere. They become active again from the state of dormant.

Suppressing Mental Anxiety can only give relief for time being:
Of course, can get relief for time being in case Mental Anxiety suppressed. But, is it really a sustainable solution? This is the question always come up.
Yes, the Mind can get relief for a short while or time being by suppressing Mental Anxiety. But, such Mental Anxiety not destroyed totally. The Mind pushes such Mental Anxiety by forcing to changes own focus and get engages so that Mental Anxiety went down. It is absolutely temporary to shut down by the Mind by moving its direction like engaging in some kinds of other activities or movement only to be away from such situation.
But, again, Mental Anxiety arise in the Mind as the Mind suppressed them by forcing to get buried. When the Mind is busy and not aware of the Present Moment, such buried or dormant Mental Anxiety again come back. The Mind keep continues to pushes to get away. Again, get suppressed and appear again and again. The Mind keep continues to suppress, but, Mental Anxiety arise again & again.
If the Mind can keep itself aware in the Present Moment and observe Mental Anxiety without any judgement, the MInd can be able to realize or understand the true nature or real nature of Mental Anxiety. In Mindfulness, the Mind has the ability to be aware in the Present Moment. As Mental Anxiety arise in the Present Moment, the Mind become aware that Mental Anxiety is arising in the Mind. Being aware of Mental Anxiety, the Mind keeps continue to observe Mental Anxiety from arising to disappear without any judgement. As no judgement made over Mental Anxiety, the true or real nature of Mental Anxiety can uncover. The Mind can understand or realize that Mental Anxiety disappear by moving around once it arises. If no judgement made, Mental Anxiety can not inspire the Mind to get engaged & be reactive to it. They simply arise & disappear after sometime without pushing the Mind to attach or engaged to them.

Once Mental Anxiety suppressed, it always comes back again and again. Then, again, the Mind steps into, suppresses them. The Mind keep continues to do so. Being continues to suppress, obviously, the Mind faces distraction for such reputation of activities. The Mind gets wild. The Mind gets more engage, Mental Anxiety keep continues to develop more & more by having external power of the Mind. The Mind can’t get escape from the trap of Mental Anxiety and move around in the circle of such Mental Anxiety.
As the Mind is uncultivated or untrained, it can not understand the real nature of Mental Anxiety. Getting more & more engagement by doing continuous judgment such Mental Anxiety and move back & forth by suppressing & pushing them to disappear. But, in Mindfulness, the Mind has the ability to be aware in the Present Moment of its own activities or movement. Being aware, the Mind can apply its ability to observe Mental Anxiety without any judgement, By doing observation without any judgement, the Mind faces Mental Anxiety and let them go as usual naturally in their own ways. Hence, in Mindfulness, Mental Anxiety never suppress rather to face & accept and let them go without any engagement & judgement over them by the Mind.
Suppressing Mental Anxiety can give short relief or escape. In fact, such suppressed Mental Anxiety never get destroyed completely. They just remain as dormant. Once the Mind is unaware, Mental Anxiety again & again come back. Being in Mindfulness, the Mind has the ability to be aware in the Present Moment and also has the ability to observe Mental Anxiety without any judgement. As Mental Anxiety not judge by the Mind in Mindfulness, the Mind can be able to understand or realize the true nature or real nature of Mental Anxiety that has no inherent power. They only arise and disappear by having a movement from one point to another point. Mental Anxiety only gets active, in case the Mind do judgement over them. Otherwise, Mental Anxiety remains as powerless and can’t inspire or get the Mind to engage with them.
